This Privacy Policy describes how Contract Intelligence Systems LLC (“AskGAAP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit askgaap.ai or interact with our pre-launch waitlist.

1. Information we collect

At this stage, askgaap.ai is a pre-launch marketing site with a waitlist signup form. We collect only what you voluntarily provide and what is automatically logged for site operation:

Email address — submitted via the waitlist form. Used solely to notify you of early access and product announcements.
Server logs — standard web server data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) collected by our hosting provider.
Analytics data — usage events collected by Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity (see Section 4).

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

Notify you about AskGAAP early access, product launches, and material updates.
Understand site usage patterns and improve the site experience.
Detect and prevent abuse, spam, and unauthorized access.
Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your information. We do not share email addresses with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Form submissions

The waitlist form is processed by Formspree, a third-party form-handling service. Submitted email addresses pass through Formspree before reaching us. Formspree's own privacy policy governs their handling of that data.

4. Analytics and session recording

We use the following third-party services to understand how visitors interact with the site:

Google Analytics 4 — aggregated traffic and event data. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
Microsoft Clarity — session recording and heatmap analytics. Governed by Microsoft's privacy statement.

Both services may use cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data. You can opt out of analytics tracking using browser-level controls or third-party opt-out tools.

5. Cookies

askgaap.ai uses minimal cookies. The cookies present are set by the analytics services described above. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to function.

6. Data retention

We retain waitlist email addresses until you request deletion or until the AskGAAP product is launched and you choose whether to convert to an active user. Server logs and analytics data are retained for the periods set by our hosting provider and the respective analytics services.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU under GDPR and California under CCPA), you may have the right to:

Request a copy of personal information we hold about you.
Request correction or deletion of that information.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Opt out of analytics and marketing communications.

8. Children's privacy

askgaap.ai is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under sixteen years of age.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product and applicable laws evolve. Material changes will be reflected in the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
