Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Contract Intelligence Systems LLC (“AskGAAP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit askgaap.ai or interact with our pre-launch waitlist.

1. Information we collect

At this stage, askgaap.ai is a pre-launch marketing site with a waitlist signup form. We collect only what you voluntarily provide and what is automatically logged for site operation:

Email address — submitted via the waitlist form. Used solely to notify you of early access and product announcements.
Server logs — standard web server data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) collected by our hosting provider.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

Notify you about AskGAAP early access, product launches, and material updates.
Understand site usage patterns and improve the site experience.
Detect and prevent abuse, spam, and unauthorized access.
Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your email address with third parties for their own marketing. The analytics services described in §4 are configured for measurement only, not for advertising personalization.

3. Form submissions

The waitlist form is processed by Formspree, a third-party form-handling service. Submitted email addresses pass through Formspree before reaching us. Formspree's own privacy policy governs their handling of that data.

4. Analytics and tracking

askgaap.ai uses a small set of third-party analytics and error-monitoring services to understand site usage and keep the site reliable:

Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — aggregate traffic and usage measurement.
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) — aggregate usage analytics and session-level interaction insights. Form-field inputs are masked and are not recorded.
Sentry — browser error and performance monitoring so we can detect and fix site problems.

These services set or read cookies and similar identifiers and may process your IP address and device/browser information for site operation, measurement, and improvement. We use them to run and improve the site — not to sell your personal information (see §5 for cookies and your choices). We update this section before adding or changing analytics services.

5. Cookies

askgaap.ai uses cookies and similar identifiers for (1) essential site operation and (2) the analytics and error-monitoring services described in §4 (Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, Sentry), which set first- and third-party cookies and identifiers (for example, Google's _ga and Microsoft Clarity's identifiers). We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising or ad retargeting. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; the site remains functional if you disable non-essential cookies.

6. Data retention

We retain waitlist email addresses until you request deletion or until the AskGAAP product is launched and you choose whether to convert to an active user. Server logs are retained for the periods set by our hosting provider.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU under GDPR and California under CCPA), you may have the right to:

Request a copy of personal information we hold about you.
Request correction or deletion of that information.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Opt out of marketing communications and object to certain processing.

8. Children's privacy

askgaap.ai is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under sixteen years of age.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product and applicable laws evolve. Material changes will be reflected in the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
